Corkscrew is the name of Wario's up special move in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. Wario spins into the air, in a similiar way to Mario's Star Spin from Super Mario Galaxy. He can only spin straight upwards, however. The attack does a significant amount of damage if performed at the proper time, often leading to combos, but the attack is mainly thought of as a recovery move. When used in the air as a recovery move, there is a blue swirl underneath him, but nothing on the ground. Three hits will destroy a Platform in Skyworld.

This move is not to be confused with Wario's 2nd Mid-Air Jump, in which he does a 360 Degree Spin.
