Room 2-SP (titled Room 1-SP in the British English version) is the Special Level of Sandstone Stroll in Mario vs. Donkey Kong: Minis March Again! It is unlocked once all lettered Mini Mario Cards are collected on this floor.

The course features four mini toys.

Overview[edit]

The course is a maze containing gates and bridges of different colors, as well as grids with spaces for Pink Block.

The minis start close to each other in the middle of the course, facing left. Ahead of them, there is a Red Color Switch where they need to walk to after crossing some Pink Blocks. Pressing the switch will cause a red gate to shut closely behind them, but another to the right side of the stage will open and grant access to a Yellow Color Switch. The minis change direction and should use Pink Blocks to descend a level lower (while avoiding the fire-shooting Piranha Plants underneath), marching onward to the right. The toys should cross some spikes with Pink Blocks and step on the Yellow Color Switch, causing two yellow bridges at the top of the stage to connect, making a straight pathway to the Goal Door. The player should then guide the minis another level lower, protecting them from the spikes below with Pink Blocks. At the bottom, the toys enter a Split Pipe that warps them to the top, where they march on to the door. There is a Pop-up Gate right before the door, which can be activated if the player wants to prevent the toys from entering it.

Mini Mario Card[edit]

The Mini Mario Card is in a tight passage at the bottom of the course. From their initial positions, the minis should go down some Pink Blocks, passing the Piranha Plants underneath, then fall into a gap with a Coin trail which leads to the card. A Yellow Spring at the end of the passage bounces them back up.

M-Token[edit]

The M-Token is located behind the red gate next to the minis' starting positions. After pressing the Red Color Switch and retracting the gate, and before the Yellow Color Switch is pressed, the minis should go all the way to the Split Pipe on the bottom right and enter it. This will lead them to the top, where they will soon fall back to their starting positions, bump into a red gate that has been closed, and change direction towards the token.
