Template:Species-infobox Spiked stones,[1] also described as "weights"[2] and spiked blocks,[3] are angry-faced weapons similar to Thwomps, appearing on the final pages in Yoshi's Story, where they are carried by the black Shy Guys inside Bowser's Castle. If a Yoshi walks near a black Shy Guy, it will release the spiked stone, which will crush whatever is beneath it. Spiked stones appear in the levels Lift Castle, Ghost Castle, and Mecha Castle.
