Mario burning Luigi with Firebrand.

Dash, also known as Fire Tickle[1], is a special move in Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga and its 3DS remake, Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga + Bowser's Minions. It is taught by the Jellyfish Sisters to Mario and Luigi at their Relaxation Room in Gwarhar Lagoon. After Mario and Luigi sign up for a massage session, Gigi and Merri accidentally trigger their Hand Powers, which then motivates them to teach the brothers how to use the Tickle and its counterpart, the Dash. When Mario uses his Firebrand ability while he is behind Luigi, he sets Luigi's back on fire, causing the two of them to dash forward faster than normally possible. This technique can be used for reaching certain areas under a limited time frame, passing through fast-moving obstacles, knocking over or pushing heavy objects, like Nokottasu (Big Koopa Troopas in the remake), and breaking down cracked walls in a certain room in Bowser's Castle. The move can be immediately stopped by moving in any direction other than forward or by pressing B Button.
