At Cranky's House, Cranky is ready to test his new robot and takes a electric discharge when presses one of itsa buttons. The robot seems to work normally. He start to praise himself while showing his Brain-Switching Helmets. He can't notice General Klump spying him outside.

At King K. Rool's hideout, K. Rool is cooking his mother's muffins. General Klump arrives and tells King K. Rool about Cranky's helmets. K. Rool wasn't interested in the invention, because he doesn't want to change his brain with General Klump or Krusha, the ones he considers dimwitted. But soon, he thinks about changing the power of the Crystal Coconut to his brain and orders the General to steal the helmets. In return, he was going to give some of his muffins for him, making him worry.

Funky was completing a kind of heart made of smoke with the initials "D.K." and "C.K." in it. He drops Donkey Kong from the plane to Cranky's House, making the house to shake with the pound and Cranky drops one of the Brain-Switching Helmets in the robot's head. He advantages Donkey Kong is there to care the house while he goes to Bluster's Barrelworks. Donkey Kong frantically seek for bananas at the refrigerator and barrels, with no success. He notices one of the helmest on the table and wear it, just to start to play around. He imitates General Klump and accidentaly presses a button in the helmet, making his brain switch with the robot's one and fall down. He wakes up in the robot's body and leaves the house to look for bananas.

Cranky and Bluster get the house and Cranky can't notice Donkey Kong there. He trips over Donkey Kong's body. After realizing Donkey Kong is strange, he notices that the robot is missing. He now knows Donkey Kong and the robot switch their brains and go out to search for Donkey Kong, leaving Bluster to watch the house while hes out. Unintentionally, Bluster realizes that Donkey Kong's body can be controled by the robot's brain.

Meanwhile, Diddy is walking in the jungle and see Donkey Kong seeking for bananas on a tree. First, he thinks it is a Donkey Kong's prank, but after, realizes that's true. A little soon they start to sing.

At Bluster Barrelworks, Candy is painting her nails, while Bluster is talking about a picnic date with her, and answering ironically. Bluster shows his new robot. Candy thinks that it's Donkey Kong and gets mad with him, thinking he's on the Bluster, not hers. At this time, the robot starts to mess the factory up.

Rool to take the Brain Switching Helmets back. At this point, Cranky and Diddy start to sing. He leaves Klump in the place to guard the Crystal Coconut and goes to King K. Rool's hideout.

Klump grabs the Coconut, planning to steal it. At this time, Bluster arrives in the place and invites him to a picnic and tries to kiss him, just to be punched by the General. He heads out dizzy and leaves the robot in the place.

Rool arrives and kids at Klump, then percept the robot and think it's Donkey Kong. Klump explains the King and he gets bored, asking for him to go make a barrel to stop annoying him. As ordered, the robot grab K. Rool and traps him inside a barrel.

Cranky, Diddy, Candy and Donkey Kong arrives. Donkey Kong tries to stop them, just to Krusha runs after Diddy, who was with the robot's head. General Klump and Candy start to fight. Rool asks him to get him out of the barrel, and he throws the King outside the house. Along Krusha that runs from Donkey Kong, he is lauched away when DK presses a trap barrel.

Candy forces Klump to put the Helmet on and switches them back to normal. Klump percepts how his skin is soft and ask Candy to tell him the secret. Donkey Kong asks Candy if Candy is herself and she wants to give him a kiss. He percepts Klump trying to sneak out the house. He is thrown from the house just like K. Rool and Krusha. Donkey Kong asks Candy to give the kiss a little shy, when Bluster arrives. He wants the money that he uses to pay the robot back. Cranky kids and say that he can deal it for free, and Bluster refuses, saying he's tired of robots and that robots gives him a big pain in the backside.
