Trivia

First of all, thank you for adding so much information the Mario Party mini-game articles. However, we actually discourage the creation of Trivia sections, and it would be really helpful if you could try writing the name origins directly into the introduction of the games. For some examples, see how I've reworked your info on Boo-Bye and Three Throw. Of course, sometimes turning them into Trivia points can't be avoided, especially if the information involves more than a single straightforward statement. The anti-Trivia rule is buried amongst hundreds of other archived (and largely forgotten) Proposals, so don't hold yourself at fault for not knowing about it. Please don't be discouraged from editing because of this, as you are a very contributive user! See you around! - Walkazo 18:03, 12 June 2009 (EDT)

Asking to be an admin is frowned upon here. It's better to just edit as much as you can and get yourself noticed by the 'crats; they're the ones who decide who to promote. Also, you might try posting your questions on the Main talk page, the FAQ talk page, or on specific users' talk pages, since you won't always get answers if you only ask on your own talk page. - Walkazo 23:23, 12 June 2009 (EDT)

Most of your info's good, but sometimes there are already name origins mentioned on the pages, and if they're a better fit than what you've though of, it's better to leave those pages alone. Once example I can think of is Blame it on the Crane: the article said it's based on a song called "Blame it on the Rain", but you proposed it's based on "Blame it on the Goose" (or something like that - I don't remember exactly), which is less likely in comparison to the rhyming rain/crane idea. Also, you need to try integrating the origins more; from what I've seen, you only remember to not include them as Trivia half the time (sorry if my info's outdated, by the way). Other than those little nit-picks, you're doing quite well. - Walkazo 21:54, 3 August 2009 (EDT)
