Deserts in Mario Kart games[edit]
Adding in recurring trends into game series are not good trivia points, and adding all instances where the recurring theme is, unrelated to the article in question, just pads out the article size. It's like saying New Super Mario Bros. U continues the trend of having desert-themed levels in the form of Layer Cake Desert in the trivia section; stuff like that isn't noteworthy. Even if you want to mention it, the opening paragraph is the best place to do it in rather than the trivia section.
