Mario Party 9 confusion[edit]

Alright in Mario Party 9 the space called the dice space looks exactly like the Blue Space from every other Mario Party game however they are called Dice Spaces and they serve a completely different role but they also look dramatically different from the Dice Spaces in Mario Party Advance so are they supposed to be blue spaces or dice spaces (And by that I mean which article should they be in) Raven Effect (talk)

I think it's best that it stays here GS15 because it has the same name and effect while it may have the same appearance as the Blue Space, it does a completely diffrent event when it's landed on.--File:Yoshidarkblue.pngNew Super YoshiArtwork of Red Yoshi in Yoshi Touch & Go 13:45, 14 March 2012 (EDT)
My thoughts exactly. I was actually about to save my edit, but then there was an edit conflict. CURSES. PidgeyIcon.pngRandomYoshi(TalkPMsC) 13:47, 14 March 2012 (EDT)
But look at the current Dice Block [1] now compare that to the Mario Party 4 blue space [2] and than compare that to the Blue Space from Mario Party 8 [3] they all look the same... Raven Effect (talk)
They all look the same, but they aren't named the same. There's quite some difference there. This one also has nothing to do with Coins whatsoever, increasing my doubts about putting it in the Blue Space article. I also say that it would look kind of awkward if something like this was added to the Blue Space article, because they are too different in their effects. Well the Blue spaces from New Super Mario Bros. have nothing to do with coins. Raven Effect (talk)
Also part of the reason for this change may be because Coins don't actually appear in Mario Party 9 Raven Effect (talk)
While I realise my incorrect reasoning about the coins part, my original thought still stands, which is that appearances aren't superior to official naming in any way. If Nd Cube decided to name this space 'Dice Space', then it should be put here. PidgeyIcon.pngRandomYoshi(TalkPMsC) 14:24, 14 March 2012 (EDT)
But one could also argue that under that logic we should split the Mario Party 5 section since they are called Plus Blocks also the Dice Blocks from Mario Party Advance don't do the same thing as the Dice Blocks from Mario Party 9 Raven Effect (talk)
I didn't mean that it should be followed in every case. I meant that, for this case, the naming is superior to that of the appearances. As for the case with that the Blue Space is named Plus Space in Mario Party 5 is easily fixed by mentioning that, "In Mario Party 5, they are called Plus Spaces." Split Mario Party Advance information (Dice Space)[edit]

Should we split the Dice Space from Mario Party Advance into its own article? Because, its effect is different from the Dice Block Space from Mario Party 9 from what the article said.--LudwigVon Sig.png(TALK) 11:08, 21 April 2016 (EDT)

yeah, I say it should be split BabyLuigiFire.png Ray Trace(T|C) 13:13, 21 April 2016 (EDT)
