Talk:List of The Super Mario Bros. Movie voice actors

Hi there! I am new to the Mariowiki, and I found out that Emmanuel garijo and Audrey Sourdive doesn't have a wiki page.

Emmanuel Garijo counts in the voice actors list in the Wiki, cause he is the voice of Toad and Rayman in French. And also Audrey Sourdive as well, who is Princess Peach and she is the voice of Rabbid Edge.

I'm not 100% sure if we need pages for every single voice actor in every language. We've primarily made articles for English and a few Japanese voice actors and I think we should leave it there. Nightwicked Bowser 04:24, April 19, 2023 (EDT)

I've opened a thread on the Mario Boards regarding the scope of coverage for people who worked on Mario media. One user responded that there'd be no reason not to cover all of them if they demonstrably had an involvement in the franchise. Currently two other users approve of this statement, and I agree myself; to link this to the topic at hand, I must ask: why would the wiki arbitrarily restrict coverage for voice actors based on language, considering they were, more likely than not, employed by a studio with consent from Universal Pictures? -- KOOPA CON CARNE 07:07, April 20, 2023 (EDT)

I think we should see whether there is actually sufficient information on the voice actors first before preemptively making red links for each one. Create then link, rather than link then create. Mario JC 10:42, April 19, 2023 (EDT)

Nonexistent/Red highlighted pages

It’s kind of late notice, but someone needs to tell this user that we follow encyclopedia etiquette and highlighting an article that is nonexistent goes against those rules, regardless if there’s a link to that name or not. The page in question is Juliet Jelenic, who at this time, has no chance of getting a page created, and I think should not be highlighted. Spread the word if you can. If this were done anywhere else, it would be swiftly reverted and leaving the highlighted name as regular text. Marino13 18:04, May 13, 2023 (EDT)

MarioWiki:Manual of Style: "Linking to as many articles as possible, created or not, adds greater navigation to the knowledge base. [...] red links (not created) give another user a chance to create the article, thus helping the wiki." Red links are allowed, I see them a lot.
