Howl is an attack used in Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars. It is an unblockable attack which causes fear, effectively cutting one party member's attack and defense in half. The animation for the attack depicts a sonic wave accompanied by a howling noise. The attack can be used by K-9 and Chow.
