1. Nintendo101 (talk) The Super Mario Galaxy article has matured over the past few years (compare January 15, 2021 to today, May 23, 2023). Significant revisions include: new charts on controller inputs, levels, characters, enemies, obstacles, bosses, items, and objects; full descriptions for all of them; elaboration on its setting, music, development history, and re-releases; citations from news articles, studies, and literature examining different elements of the game; relocated and fixed citations from the original article; and the incorporation of information unique to the Nvidia Shield TV version of the game. I believe at this point it is on par with articles on some of its sister games that have been featured (Super Mario World and Super Mario 3D World) and is a good candidate for nomination.
2. Koopa con Carne (talk) I propose a tier for featured articles, on top of the standard one, that is reserved to those of the utmost quality. Call it the "North Star" tier, or perhaps the "Polaris" tier, to be in congruence with the star symbol used by featured articles and to represent a shining standard that should guide all articles; because I'm certain this page would occupy it. Strong support, then; I'm looking forward to further contributions from you that will raise the bar of Super Mario-franchise coverage.
3. Waluigi Time (talk) Without exaggeration, I can say that this may be the single most detailed and well-written game article on the wiki. Excellent work has been put into this article the past few years and it's about time that gets recognized.

5. RealStuffMister (talk) just scrolling through the article was enough for me to understand Waluigi Time's comments.
6. Camwoodstock (talk) - Per Waluigi Time. This article is incredibly in-depth, leaves no stone un-turned, and is, frankly, probably overqualified to be a featured article, and this might be one of the best articles on the wiki in its current state. It's certainly come a long way since its un-featuring in 2014, that's for certain; basically all the reasons it got un-featured back then have long since been more-or-less addressed (story has since been trimmed down, controls section actually makes sense and is a LOT neater to read, the galaxies section has been made nicer and is a lot less needlessly infodense, the items section has been cleaned up, no more shoehorning in the staff page where it doesn't belong).
7. Killer Moth (talk) Per all. The Super Mario Galaxy page is very well put together and is a prime example of how a game article should look.

Thank you. I appreciate the kind words. A lot of people were involved in improving this article. I just wanted to share that I have revised the Gameplay section of the article yesterday. It was the last chunk to not have been meaningfully reviewed since 2021. I don't think the changes to this section are very significant, but I encourage others to look at it just in case it changes their opinion of the overall article. - Nintendo101 (talk) 11:49, May 29, 2023 (EDT)

One small thing I noticed while reading through the article. The boards are listed under both characters and objects. IIRC all the boards in this game have pun names, so that would make them characters, unless there's other boards I'm forgetting about. I think they should be moved to just one section. Most of the Boards in the game are normal signposts, like the ones in Mario 64 and Mario Sunshine. The listing under NPCs was for Bill Board, Phil Board, etc. while the one under Objects was just for the normal signposts. The Shogakukan encyclopedia similarly lists the talking Boards as NPCs and normal signposts as objects, even though they look the same. - Nintendo101 (talk) 07:16, May 31, 2023 (EDT)
