Name Kuri appear in Super Mario Sunshine. Name Kuri are anywhere where the toxic sludge is, and they resemble octopus. They come in numerous colors such as yellow, blue, red, green etc. They makes disturbing noises, and can get in the way when you are trying to defeat a Goopy Piranha Plant to open a new course.

They can be killed by being squirted with water from FLUDD.
