Vs. Lakitu Launch

Vs. Lakitu Launch is a multiplayer Action minigame in New Super Mario Bros. Since it is exclusive to multiplayer, it can be played only in the Vs. Battle mode.

Gameplay

The game plays similarly to the single-player version. Players have 30 seconds to use slingshots to launch Spiny Eggs into the Koopa Shells that the Lakitus are moving in a circular pattern. Each of the players has different-colored Spiny Eggs, however, that must be shot into the correct shell; launching a Spiny Egg into the incorrect shell gives the opponent a point. Players fire the Spiny Egg by pulling back on the Touch Screen in the direction they wish to fire. At the end, the Spinies in both Koopa Shells are tallied, and the player with more in theirs wins.

In-game instructions

Shoot your Spinies into the flying shells of the same color. If you land any in the wrong shell, that opponent gets the points!
