• In a Nintendo Direct broadcast on February 9, 2022, Mario Strikers: Battle League (pictured) was announced for the Nintendo Switch and is set to be released in June 2022. In the same Direct, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe was revealed to be receiving 48 DLC tracks (six packs of eight) by the end of 2023 via a season pass.
• Paper Mario was released worldwide on Nintendo 64 - Nintendo Switch Online on December 10, 2021.
• A version 4.0.0 update for Mario Golf: Super Rush was released on November 23, 2021, which added Wiggler and Shy Guy as playable characters.
• A version 2.0.0 update for Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit was announced and released on November 17, 2021, with additional features such as a split-screen option for multiplayer mode.
