• The Nintendo Switch – OLED Model was released worldwide on October 8, 2021.
• In The Final "Mr. Sakurai Presents" on October 5, 2021, Sora (pictured) was revealed as the final DLC character for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, as part of Challenger Pack 11.
• On September 28, 2021, Universal Parks & Resort and Nintendo announced the expansion for Super Nintendo World, themed to the Donkey Kong franchise, and is set to open in 2024.
