- The Mario Kart 8 Deluxe World Championship 2024 (pictured) was held in Japan on April 14, 2024. Player "Purple", who represented Japan, won the competition and was declared the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe world champion.
- Wrecking Crew '98 was released internationally for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System - Nintendo Switch Online application on April 12, 2024, marking its first official release outside of Japan.
- As announced on October 4, 2023, Nintendo Network was terminated on April 8, 2024 at 5:00 PM PDT, discontinuing online play and functionality on Nintendo 3DS and Wii U. This also indirectly made it no longer possible to redownload purchased DLC released for Nintendo 3DS titles.
- Princess Peach: Showtime! for the Nintendo Switch was released worldwide on March 22, 2024.
