This is not Mario related, but Barnacle mentions that an elven boy in green was willing to spend rupees to purchase seashell. This is a reference to Link's seashell sidequest in Link's Awakening.

Donkey Konga 3

Is him being included in Donkey Konga 3 actually true? I've been looking and I can't find any footage showing him, any official source for the artwork, or really any evidence that he appears at all. I noticed this too, and it does match the Konga 2 style, but... he's not actually in that one either as far as I've been able to tell. Besides, it's the exact same pose as his original artwork.
