Super Blocks are blocks that contain a spinning blue disk in Paper Mario. Much like Merlon in Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door, the Super Block upgrades Mario's partners. In PMTTYD, Mario can upgrade any of his partners as long as he has Shine Sprites, unfortunatly in Paper Mario the blocks are scattered all across the Mushroom Kingdom.
You still can't choose to ultra rank a partner if everybody else isn't at a super rank. All of them are visible and don't need to be seen with Watt.
