The Stone Cap is an item in Paper Mario. It is a replica of Mario's hat, made completely out of stone. When Mario wears it, he gains the Stone status, transforming into a stone statue. Mario is invincible to any damage for a short time; however, he cannot attack while wearing the stone cap. It can be bought at Toad Town for thirty coins, and it can be found in Shy Guy's Toy Box and Jade Jungle.
Trivia
The Stone Cap is similar to Metal Mario and Statue Mario's abilities.
