Porcupal
Template:Species-infobox PorcupalsTemplate:Refneeded are short creatures similar to porcupines that own the role of enemies in Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze. They have red bristles on their backs (which makes them similar in appearance with an enemy from Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble!.); these bristles are long and pointed towards their rear. Porcupals also sport long, turned-up snouts with small tusks. They always seem mad because of their frowned figures, which are enclosed between two rather tiny ears for each enemy.
Porcupals defend themselves from the Kongs with flames; once the heroes get close to one Porcupal, its bristles will spawn fire and turn darker, sharper. In this state, the Porcupal cannot receive any attack that involves physical contact from the Kongs; however, water fruits, barrels or any other throwable objects can put an end to them even when lit by fire. If the Porcupal does not get defeated while so, its flames will eventually go out, and the Kongs finally have a chance to roll into or stomp onto the Porcupal to defeat it. Rambi the Rhino can also destroy Porcupals, but only once they put out their flames, as Rambi is vulnerable to fire or any other source of lightning, such as Blue Hootz.
Porcupals are only found in Bright Savannah, and they can be seen roaming without problem in natural distaster levels like Frantic Fields or Scorch 'n' Torch. They can also be found in Rickety Rafters, as well as in Bramble Scramble. Template:BoxTop Template:DKC:TF
