The first few beats of the Super Mario Bros. main song can be heard in Petal Meadows theme.
A small area which leads to Petalburg and Hooktail Castle in Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door. You can get there by either of the 2 warp pipes in Rogueport Sewers. The enemies are the various Goombas, which can be avoided easily. It's the only place where you can get a Horsetail.
Petal Meadows is basically the same as Pleasant Path in Paper Mario.
