Metal Face

Metal Face is a primary antagonist in Xenoblade Chronicles, responsible for the death of a friend of the protagonist, Shulk. He reappears in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U as the stage boss of Gaur Plain stage. His appearance in the game was first hinted at in Shulk's reveal trailer.

He only appears during the night time of the stage, attacking players with his laser beam. His laser beam destroys a portion of stage, which is restored after he leaves. After attacking with a laser beam, he sits on either the top left or right side of the stage, slashing with his claws. Before leaving, he taunts and rams into players, greatly damaging them. Sometimes he just stations himself without shooting his laser beam. Like other bosses, Metal Face can be attacked, and attacking him enough defeats him. If Shulk is among the fighters, Metal Face will utter special quotes directed to him.
