The Mad Adder is a giant mechanical snake and Domino's pet that lives in Smithy's Factory in Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars. The Mad Adder's name comes from the book Alice in Wonderland, referencing to the character Mad Hatter. Adder also refers to any kind of venomous snake.

The Mad Adder's main attack is poisoning Mario and his allies. During the battle with Domino and his partner, Cloaker, if Cloaker is defeated first, Domino retreats and electronically fuses with the Mad Adder.

The Mad Adder is a palette swap of Bad Adder, Cloaker's snake, with which it, Cloaker, and Domino shares the last part of their Japanese names "link."
