“I really like the Creepy Castle music in this game, I tried to get that "Adams Family" feel to the piece. Of course I still get teased about the DK Rap to this day….aarrgghh!”

Grant Kirkhope (born 10 July, 1962) is a British composer who has been in video game composition since 1995 and is known for his compositions for Rareware games, especially the Banjo-Kazooie series. He is also somewhat infamous for the DK Rap, which has been remixed and referenced in many other games after its introduction. He also portrayed Donkey Kong in Donkey Kong 64. Nintendo recycled his voice clips in subsequent Mario and Donkey Kong titles from 2003-2005.
