Gators are obstacles in Yoshi's Crafted World. They are green, rectangular alligator-like traps with yellow eyes, sharp teeth, and lighter green scales on top of them. While their mouths are open, they can be used as platforms; however, if a gator traps the Yoshi, it takes damage and respawns near the gator. They appear in the level Exploring the Animal Kingdom in varying sizes, as well as in the background of Jungle Tour Challenge blocking targets by opening their mouths. On the flip side of the former, it is revealed that they are controlled by a Shy Guy inside. An orange gator appears as a craft on the front side of Exploring the Animal Kingdom as one of its Blockafeller's requests.
