'''Firebrand''' is a move used by [[Mario]] during the events of ''[[Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga]]''. It is also the brother move of the [[Thunderhand]]. He is taught this by the [[Fire God]] in the [[Fire Palace]]. It is even further advanced after [[Mimi]] teaches him how to use it along with [[Luigi]].
Later, in [[Gwarhar Lagoon]], [[Mimi]] a [[Jellyfish Sisters]] teaches Mario a new moves to use, while [[Gigi]] teaches [[Luigi]] another move. Mario's new move is putting Luigi's butt on fire, and Luigi will run super fast a long with Mario.
 
The Firebrand is just like Luigi's [[Thunderhand]], however Luigi makes a thunder not fire.  


Firebrand can light [[Fire Lamp]]s and other ignitable objects. In battle it proves useful against certain enemies. They can also use [[Fire Bros.]] after the [[Jellyfish Sisters]] teaches Mario the advanced method. After the advanced method is taught, Mario can use it when behind Luigi causing him to run extremely fast in one direction and tow Mario behind him. This can be used to pass through fast-moving spiked barrels. It also can be used to knock down cannon ball-like objects and [[Ankoopas]].

Firebrand is a move used by Mario during the events of Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga. It is also the brother move of the Thunderhand. He is taught this by the Fire God in the Fire Palace. It is even further advanced after Mimi teaches him how to use it along with Luigi.
