The Firebrand move is a special move that Mario can do in Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga. The Fire God, in Oho Oasis teaches Mario how to use this move. Pressing the B button will make Mario make a Fireball in his hand, however, he will not throw it.
Later, in Gwarhar Lagoon, Mimi a Jellyfish Sisters teaches Mario a new moves to use, while Gigi teaches Luigi another move. Mario's new move is putting Luigi's butt on fire, and Luigi will run super fast a long with Mario.
The Firebrand is just like Luigi's Thunderhand, however Luigi makes a thunder not fire.
