Chippy is an enemy found in the game Virtual Boy Wario Land. Chippies are seen in the fifth level of the game, within the leafy forest areas. The main characteristic of a Chippy is their cute, but aggressive nature. A greater number of the species can be seen running along the ground. If they catch sight of Wario, they will throw spiky balls which will explode shortly after hitting the ground. They are also able to climb trees, and they adjust their attacks accordingly. A few Chippies hide in trees not far from the ground, waiting for the player to walk nearby. They will then jump out in surprise and will float to the ground upon a large leaf, with a threatening shield covered in spikes in hand. They will attempt to ram Wario with the shield when they have landed in an attempt to harm him. A third trait of Chippies tend to reside in the treetops nearby ladders that Wario may use to progress in the level. When Wario climbs within range, the Chippies will throw spears at him without hesitation, damaging Wario if they are to make contact. All types of Chippies can be knocked out by a jump to the head, where they will flip upside down and recover after a few seconds. They can be defeated by a ground pound or a ram to a non-threatening part of its body which is an area free from any weapons. They can also be destroyed by the flames of Sea Dragon or King Dragon Wario, regardless of the area.

Chippy[1] is an enemy in the game Virtual Boy Wario Land. They are only seen in Stage 5, within the leafy forest areas. Many Chippies are found running along the ground. If they catch sight of Wario, they will take a round, spiky bomb out of its mouth and throw it, soon exploding after hitting the ground. Some Chippies hide in trees not far from the ground. If Wario approaches, they will jump out and float to the ground upon a large leaf, holding a shield covered in spikes. After landing, the Chippy will attempt to ram Wario with the shield. It can also hold it up to deflect all of Wario's attacks from above. Chippies can also throw spears, damaging Wario if they hit him. If the spear hits a tree trunk, Wario can use the spear as a platform.

All types of Chippies can be knocked out by a stomp to the head, where they will flip upside down and recover after a few seconds. They can be defeated by a Body Slam or a Barge, without touching a Chippy's weapons. They can also be destroyed by the flames of Sea Dragon or King Dragon Wario, regardless of the area.
