Mario Party Superstars:

Catch You Letter is a 4-Player minigame in Mario Party 6, Mario Party: The Top 100, and Mario Party Superstars. The name is a pun on the phrase "Catch you later!"

There is also a page in the Miracle Book that contains events based on the minigame, called "Special Delivery." Peach and Yoshi play on this page. When the page is activated, the Shy Guy and Yoshi trip, Peach gets buried in the bunch of letters she was carrying, and more letters fly out of the post office.

The minigame has no differences when played at night in Mario Party 6, except the streetlights are turned on to light up the area where the players compete. Only the daytime version appears in Mario Party: The Top 100 and Mario Party Superstars.

Introduction[edit]

A Shy Guy runs frantically out of a post office, which is filled with mail. The roof then bursts off the top of the structure, and letters fly out everywhere.

Gameplay[edit]

Players must earn points by picking up the scattered mail and giving it back to the Shy Guy. Players automatically grab letters and hand them to the Shy Guy on contact. Regular white letters are worth one point, while pink love letters are worth three points. Pink love letters drop only twice per game and also make a special sound effect when falling and being delivered to the Shy Guy. Any player with the most points by the end wins.

Ending[edit]

In Mario Party 6 and Superstars, the losers line up in the center of the area, with the winner(s) standing in front of them as the camera angle switches to a frontal view. The Shy Guy then cheers from behind as the players perform their victory and losing animations. It is possible for there not to be a loser.
