Blodog

Blodog is a dog-like creature coming from Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story whom serves Brirock as his guard dog. It seems to be made from a yellow ? Block, with four legs and large ears on each side of its body. On its rear side, Blodog has a band-aid. Blodog protects Brirock's Block store against intruders, and runs his own the Koopa Equipment shop.

Blodog is fought once in the game. He fights Bowser thinking he's an intruder. Bowser has to attack Blodog with his fire breath and set him on fire. While Blodog is burned, he turns to the other side so his band-aid is vulnerable. Bowser has to attack Blodog with his band-aid until he is defeated. After a couple of turns, the burn disappears and he continues fighting. One of Blodog's attacks is tackling into Bowser. Blodog also appears to help Bowser as a special attack that is unlocked by saving all fifteen Blocats.

• Blodog is a portmanteau of "block" and "dog".
• Blodog could also be a pun on "Bull dog".
