Anthony Scapelli is a character in the Super Mario Bros. film. He is the leader of a rival plumbing company that is stealing jobs from Mario and Luigi. He wants Daisy and her friends to stop fossil digging because it's hurting his business. Anthony Scapelli goes as far as to send workers to sabotage the dig. Later King Koopa tells him that a human has accidentally broken the wall between dimensions, making it easier for him to invade Earth. Mario reasons that it must have been Anthony Scapelli and his employees. When King Koopa does invade it, Anthony Scapelli is the first and only human that he De-Evolves, turning him into a monkey.

- Scapelli was named for the old advertising boss of Parker Bennett and Terry Runté, Bob Scarpelli.[1]
