Mario and an ant
Ants are enemies in the Tree and Macro Zones of Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins. Much like Goombas, they walk and march into enemies. There are many different varieties, including a Miner, Bazooka, and Spiked. A standard jump or a fireball are enough to defeat it. In Wario's Warehouse it was revealed that Wario keeps a matchbox of ants in his cupboard, waiting for them to worship him as a god. A giant ant also appears in an exhibit of Smithsnorian Museum of Wario: Master of Disguise. A riddle Master of Disguise also asks "What family member lives on the hills?" and the answer was the Ant.
In Donkey Kong Country TV Show the ants appear in the episode "Buried Treasure" as their appearance are small.
