The title of this article is conjectural; an official name for the article's subject has not been found, so it has been given a fitting title by the editors. If an official name is found, then the article should be moved to its appropriate title.

The Great Goomba God is a deity that appears in Mario Party 8. Although the Great Goomba God has never actually been seen, its voice is heard when the player reaches its special treasure chest on a sacred island. The sacred island can be accessed by having a character land on the Lucky Space in Goomba's Booty Boardwalk. If a character reaches the Great Goomba God's special treasure chest, it will give the character a Star and send them back to the Lucky Space.

It is probable that the Great Goomba God is a sacred Goomba that lives in some sort of afterlife. This is believed because of the large, grey Goomba statues and shrines that exist on the island.

It is possible that the Great Goomba God is just one of many Great Goomba Gods, making them a possible species.
