Yoshi's Wings are a power-up item from Super Mario World. When Mario and Yoshi snag this rare item, Yoshi turns into Winged Yoshi, and they enter a secret bonus area, where they can collect Coins. Upon finishing that stage, no matter what colored Yoshi Mario had with him, he would instead have a Blue Yoshi in its place. However, in the GBA version, Yoshi's color does not change in this way.

In the Super Mario World cartoon, Yoshi's Wings, though called Magic Wings, appeared in the episodes "Ghosts 'R' Us" and "The Night Before Cave Christmas", where, like in the game, they could turn Yoshi into Winged Yoshi.
