Mario and Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story
In Mario and Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story, Starlow is sent to Princess Peach's meeting as a representative of the star sprites. Starlow believes that the cause from The Blorbs was from Blorb Mushrooms sold by a man in a grey cloak. Later, she is sucked into Bowser, along with Mario, Luigi, and other citizens of the Mushroom Kingdom. She has the same purpose as Stuffwell did in Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time: helping Mario and Luigi. Also like Stuffwell, she holds the Mario Bros. items and eqiupment. However, the difference between Stuffwell and Starlow is that she has a Demo version of all the abilities learned throughout the game. She can combine her powers with Princess Peach to levitate people, such as Bowser, and also help Mario and Luigi to perform certain action commands. Starlow will often talk to Bowser from inside of him to give him information. Starlow uses Chippy as her name for Bowser, not wanting him to know that she is helping the Mario Bros. She also helps Mario and Luigi against their encounter with Bowser. She also can save the player from nearly impossible attacks from bosses like Bowser, just by having Mario and Luigi grab her feet so she can fly up to the top screen. In the end, after everyone is out of Bowser, Bowser is furious that the Mario Bros. were inside him.
At the end of the game, when Bowser hears Starlow's voice, he easily recognized her as Chippy, and got even more furious, deciding to pick a fight with the three of them. Starlow delivers a present to Bowser from Peach as a thanks for all he did, and they have a small chat. After that short moment, Bowser remembers what happens, and yells at Starlow to leave his castle.

Triva
- Starlow's name is a combination of the words "star" and "yellow".
- Starlow is the first character to hold Mario and Luigi's items that isn't a suitcase.
- She is the only character that can give off a Demo of the abilities, and also letting the player practice them.
- Starlow has some negative feelings towards Luigi, such as mocking his tears after they defeat the Shroobs, or when he shivers too much, or when he acts cowardly towards the Kretins.
- Starlow looks very similar to the Love Bubble enemies from Mario and Luigi: Partners in Time.
