A Porcu-Puffer.

Porcu-Puffers appeared in Super Mario World, where they would follow Mario and Luigi in the water. The Mario Bros. could perform the Spin Jump on them to "ride" them, or use Yoshi. They resemble giant Cheep-Cheeps with blue spikes all over their backs.

They appear in two levels, the secret level on top of the Vanilla Dome, and a secret area in the Cookie Mountain level. They also appear in a secret area from Chocolate Island 1.

After a long hiatus, these enemies reappear in the game New Super Mario Bros. Wii. Here, they attack exactly the same as Spike Bass. It is also the world obstacle of world 4. It will jump onto a bridge will trigger an enemy stage if it hits Mario

A similar species called Puffer-Cheeps appeared in Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga.
