Is it save to assume that it has no defined gender in the Pokémon series? - Cobold (talk · contribs) 15:20, 5 November 2007 (EST)

I read the Wikipedia articles on it; it is safe to assume that. 3dhammer.gif 3D, for peace, justice and the Nintendo way! 3dhammer.gif
Yep. Rayquaza, and most legendaries for that matter, have no gender. My Bloody Valentine That confuses me. Do they live forever?

Yes it's genderless. The only legendaries that have genders are Latios, Latias, and Heatran. But most people (including me) consider anything that is genderless as male.--King Boo 17:25, 9 December 2007 (EST)

Some live forever like Groudon and Kyogre.Knife (talk) 21:29, 10 December 2007 (EST)

What confuses me is this question: "If they don't have genders, can they be called animals?" MisterJaffffeyPeteyPiranhaBanana.gif G0 Rayquaza And don't monsters have genders as well? 19:29, 14 January 2008

Legendary Pokémon do have genders, you just can't tell what they are. I remember seeing a Pokémon episode where there was a mum Lugia with a male baby Lugia called Silver. Forgetting the gender tripe, I have a question; why does Rayquaza come out of a LAKE??? It lives in the ozone layer for God's sake! It's a flying Pokémon!! Georgedrake Z

Member of Subspace?

Rayquaza is listed as an "affiliate" of the Subspace Army. Is this really accurate? I was given to thinking it was just a wild animal and Diddy had entered its territory. It's not trying to take over the world or anything, just defend its home. ~ Joshi 04:28, 27 March 2009 (EDT)
