My, what big mouth you have!

Pakkun Flowers are a sub-species of Piranha Plant that were found in Sarasaland during the events of Super Mario Land for the Gameboy. Like their cousins, they too will emerge from pipes to attack and eat foes (in this case, Mario. Jumping on it is as big a hazard as with other species of Piranha Plants, and should be avoided at all costs. They may be weak to superballs, however.

It should be noted, however, that the original Japanese name for a Piranha Plant is Pakkun Furawā, with Furawā essentially translating into the word flower. That means that Pakkun Flowers in the Japanese version of Super Mario Land are in fact just regular ol' Piranha Plants.
