Proto Mecha King Bob-omb is a prototype of the real Mecha King Bob-omb that appears in Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope, specifically in The Last Spark Hunter DLC. It is on the Melodic Gardens and is fought in the battle Embuscade!. It was created by Kanya, and was sent out to fight against the heroes.

In battle, Proto Mecha King Bob-omb attacks by throwing bombs at the heroes, dealing explosive area damage, and summoning two Bob-ombs at once as a technique. It is also protected by a barrier that renders all attacks useless. The only way to deactivate the barrier is for it to get caught in a Bob-omb explosion, which will disable the shield for one turn before regaining it the next. Proto Mecha King Bob-omb is also resistant to all Super Effects (except Lifesteal, and cannot be Dashed.

Proto Mecha King Bob-mob is controlled via remote control by Kanya, and is mostly gray, with blue eyes, and limbs composed of multicolored wires. It is also smaller than the real Mecha King Bob-omb.

Memory bio

PROTO MECHA KING BOB-OMB

"The Proto Mecha King Bob-omb! What makes Kanya so formidable is that despite her erratic nature, she exhibits genius-level mechanical abilities that rival that of Momma of Barrendale Mesa. Thankfully, the ego that drives her to set herself apart from her progenitor, Cursa, drives her to minimize her use of Darkmess. Kanya is a self-made villain - - vain and explosive, but as shrewd as they come."
