Based on Rome, Italy

Rome Avanti is a race course in Mario Kart Tour. It is based on the city of Rome, Italy, and as such takes racers round many landmarks and sites from that city, such as the Colosseum. The course made its debut in the Night Tour, and is the second real world city course to not debut in a tour named after the city it's debuting, after Athens Dash. The course is the sixth European city course and is the first of them to be set at nighttime. The course's name comes from the Italian word for "onwards", and is the second Mario Kart Tour real world city course to use a non-English word in its English name, after Tour Paris Promenade, as well as being the second Mario Kart course in general with this distinction. The starting line for this course resembles the front side of the Pantheon.

It has two routes, Rome Avanti and Rome Avanti 2, both of which debuted together. The two routes feature many unused roads indicating the course will have a third route in the future.
