Donkey Kong (coloring/activity books)

The Donkey Kong activity books are a series of books published by Modern Promotions/Publishers that feature characters from Donkey Kong, including Mario, Pauline, and Donkey Kong. The first five books in the series are titled Donkey Kong, and were published in 1982, while the next five books are titled Donkey Kong Strikes Again!, and were published from 1982 to 1983. Four of the books under each title contain coloring pages that follow a story, as well as puzzles and other activities, while one of the books under each title contains only activities. In 1983, two additional books titled Donkey Kong Junior were published, based on the game of the same name; one of these books contains a variety of activities, and the other contains only puzzles and mazes. Every book in the series uses the same UPC-A barcode (0-30099-99730-1), and none of the books are numbered in any way, making the chronology of the books very difficult to determine.
