Fire P-Pakkun are fire-breathing versions of Jumping Piranha Plants that first appear in Super Mario World. Fire P-Pakkun are introduced in Cookie Mountain and the Special Zone. They mainly appear in the level Outrageous. A lone Fire P-Pakkun is also found in the level Groovy, and another one is found in Funky. Fire P-Pakkun behave a lot like Jumping Piranha Plants, except they also spit fireballs on both sides of them like Volcano Lotuses, though a Fire P-Pakkun spits only two fireballs at once rather than four and they fall downwards in an arc. They are rare as there are only seven of them that appear in the entire game. Like with other Piranha Plants, their heads turn into jack-o'-lanterns after the player beats Funky in the original game or completes all 96 exits in the GBA remake.
