Jungle Hijinks is the eighth and final primary floor in Mario vs. Donkey Kong 2: March of the Minis. As the floor's name suggests, a forest of trees resembling a jungle can be seen in the background. The music tracks played on this floor are arrangements of "DK Island Swing", first heard in Jungle Hijinxs from Donkey Kong Country.

New enemies introduced on this floor include Kongā, Snapjaws, Bob-ombs, Bob-omb Fish, Snifits, and Birds. Additionally, every previously introduced monkey robot makes at least one appearance on this floor, including Circus Kongs, Capture Kongs, Crash Kongs, and Cool Kongs. This area also introduces Bomb Blocks. When Bomb Blocks are picked up, they allow the player to place a bomb near objects. The bomb's explosion can defeat enemies and destroy cracked blocks.

The battle with Donkey Kong in Room 8-DK, referred to as Boss Game 8, is fairly different from previous encounters. If a Mini Mario comes into contact with Donkey Kong, he punches the Mini Mario and breaks it. Snapjaws appear as obstacles during this battle. A Bird also appears, which constantly moves from left to right and occasionally attempts to drop towards the Mini Marios. After hitting Donkey Kong with a banana, he starts jumping from vines and the Bird starts dropping eggs on the minis if it is not defeated. The only way to defeat Donkey Kong is to drop bananas on his head. If a Mini Mario drops these bananas on one of the Snapjaws or the bird, they will be temporarily defeated. After taking 6 hits, Donkey Kong is defeated and flees to the Roof.
