Keegan-Michael Key (born March 22, 1971) is an American actor, comedian, producer and screenwriter known for co-creating and co-starring with Jordan Peele in the TV series Key & Peele. He also appeared in films such as Horrible Bosses 2 (2014), Pitch Perfect 2 (2015), Don't Think Twice, Keanu (the latter with Peele, both 2016) and Dolemite Is My Name (2019) and provided voice talent in several animated films, including The Lego Movie (2014), the Hotel Transylvania franchise (2015–2022), Storks, The Angry Birds Movie (both 2016), The Star (2017), The Lion King remake and Toy Story 4 (both 2019).

During a Nintendo Direct on September 23, 2021, Key was revealed to be starring as Toad in the Mario film co-produced by Illumination.[1]
