Heat Wave (originally known as Hot Flash) is a microgame found in WarioWare: Touched! in the Super Zero stage and returns in WarioWare Gold as one of Young Cricket & Master Mantis' microgames. The concept is similar to that of Wario is HOT from WarioWare: D.I.Y..

The original name, Hot Flash, is derived from the medical condition, where a person experiences a sudden feeling of warmth in the upper part of their body.

Gameplay

The objective is to take Wario's clothes off (a sumo in WarioWare Gold) until only Wario's boxers or the sumo's mawashi remains (which can be taken off as well, leaving them with a fig leaf as cover). In Touched!, on a few occasions, Wario may be wearing a spandex suit. The sumo's wig may be taken off in Gold.
