Training Stages (Miracle Cure Laboratory)

If you plan ahead, you can form chain reactions that eliminate many viruses in one go!	17 viruses are found in this stage. The capsule falling speed is set to Slow. Some viruses are arranged in columns of three, while others are arranged in L-shapes. Miracle Cure is disabled for this stage.
2	Intro to Dr. Luigi		Dr. Luigi	Dr. Luigi's speciality is using L-shaped capsules called "L-capsules" to clear viruses. In every other respect this mode plays like Dr. Mario, but it's very important to remember that Dr. Luigi's capsules require a bit of different strategy because of their shape.	12 viruses are found in this stage. The capsule falling speed is set to Slow. L-capsules in this stage have three pieces in one color and one in another. Viruses are arranged so that each group can be cleared by one L-capsule. Miracle Cure is disabled for this stage.
3	Advanced L-Capsules		Dr. Luigi	As the difficulty increases in Dr. Luigi mode, his L-capsules change from having three pieces in one color and one in another to having two pieces in one color and two in another. This can really change how you place them. Try out this style of L-capsule here, in a slightly harder stage.	12 viruses are found in this stage. The capsule falling speed is set to Slow. Unlike every Dr. Luigi stage with a slow falling speed, the L-capsules in this stage have two pieces in one color and two in another, both colors in one full capsule each. Normally, L-capsules are structured like this if the falling speed is set to Fast. Viruses are scattered into groups of two that can be cleared with a full capsule each. Miracle cures are random for this stage.
4	Blasting Capsules		Dr. Mario	Capsule Blasters are handy when you need to clear out excess capsules. Use one in a set of its own color and all matching capsules will vanish.	8 viruses are found in this stage. The capsule falling speed is set to Slow. The stage is littered with capsules up to the 11th row from the bottom, burying two columns and one row of viruses. Miracle cures consist of Capsule Blaster R, Capsule Blaster B, and Capsule Blaster Y in that order, where the cycle will repeat.
5	Z-Blasting Capsules		Dr. Mario	Capsule Blaster Z is a truly remarkable miracle cure. Use it in a set of any color and all of the capsules that are in your bottle will disappear!	1 virus is found in this stage. The capsule falling speed is set to Slow. The stage is littered with capsules up to the 10th row from the bottom, where the top is shaped like a hill, burying a blue virus at the bottom of the bottle. The only miracle cure available from the gauge is the Capsule Blaster Z.
6	Blasting Viruses		Dr. Mario	Virus Blasters are an incredible way to clear your bottle fast. Use one in a set of its own color to eliminate every virus of that color in one go!	45 viruses are found in this stage. The capsule falling speed is set to Slow. The stage contains viruses that are clumped together, where they are grouped into L-shapes each consisting of three like-colored viruses. Miracle cures consist of Virus Blaster R, Virus Blaster B, and Virus Blaster Y in that order, where the cycle will repeat.
7	Zap Attacks		Dr. Mario	Zappers are very useful when things are looking grim. They blast entire lines clean, eliminating both viruses and capsules with surgical precision.	54 viruses are found in this stage. The capsule falling speed is set to Slow. In this stage, the leftmost and rightmost columns contain viruses of alternating colors. The middle four columns contain viruses arranged in columns of three, while single viruses are found in the second, third, sixth, and seventh columns. Miracle cures consist of Vertical Zapper, Horizontal Zapper, and +Zapper in that order, where the cycle will repeat.
8	Explosive Treatments		Dr. Mario	When dire times call for drastic action, nothing works quite like an Exploder. The moment it lands, it detonates, taking out everything around it.	30 viruses are found in this stage. The capsule falling speed is set to Slow. In this stage, viruses are arranged in groups of three. The only miracle cure available from the gauge is the Exploder.
9	Miracle Cure Combos		Dr. Mario	Can you use a Zapper or Exploder to activate both the Virus Blaster and the Capsule Blaster in one go? If so, you can trigger quite an impressive combo!	20 viruses are found in this stage. The capsule falling speed is set to Slow. In this stage, red viruses are arranged in two groups: one completes a row, while the other forms a curve with a couple of red capsules, a Virus Blaster R, and a Capsule Blaster R above them. The blue and yellow viruses are in the bottom-most row where there are capsule pieces of the same color above them. The only miracle cures available from the gauge are Zappers and Exploders.
10	Shocking Sabotage		Dr. Mario (Vs.)	Some miracle cures disrupt opponents during vs. play. Reversers swap the controls, Lockers prevent rotations, and Boosters increase drop speed.	36 viruses are found in this stage on each player's bottle. The capsule falling speed is set to Slow. In this stage, the virus layout is random, but is the same between both players. Every type of miracle cure is available, including the Reverser, Locker, and Booster.

Beginner Stages (Miracle Cure Laboratory)

For the Dr. Luigi modes, if the speed is either Slow or Med, the L-capsules have three pieces in one color and one in another. However, if the speed is Fast, the L-capsules have two pieces in one color and two in another, both colors in one full capsule each.

8	Rainbow Riot		Dr. Mario	Medium	Med	48 viruses are found in this stage. In this stage, the viruses form the shape of a rainbow, with red in the top arc, yellow in the center arc, and blue in the bottom arc.

10	Rainy-Day Remedy		Dr. Luigi	High	Med	31 viruses are found in this stage. In this stage, the red and yellow viruses form an umbrella, while the blue viruses form rain droplets.
11	Head-to-Head Challenge		Dr. Mario (Vs.)	Medium	Med	40 viruses are found in this stage on each player's bottle. In this stage, the virus layout is random, but is the same between both players.
12	Head-to-Head Challenge 2		Dr. Luigi (Vs.)	Low	Med	13 viruses are found in this stage on each player's bottle. In this stage, the virus layout is random, but is the same between both players.
13	One-Move Medication		Dr. Mario	Low	Med	15 viruses are found in this stage. The only virus and capsule colors available in this stage are red and blue. In this stage, the viruses are each arranged in cascaded rows with a gap in between, and four of those rows have a capsule piece of the same color above them. The viruses are arranged where all viruses can be eliminated with at least one capsule.
14	Four-Move Medication		Dr. Luigi	Medium	Med	18 viruses are found in this stage. In this stage, the viruses are arranged in a particular way where it can be cleared with at least four capsules.
15	Rapid Remedy		Dr. Mario	Medium	Fast	56 viruses are found in this stage. In this stage, the virus layout is random.
16	Pot Luck		Dr. Mario	Low	Fast	18 viruses are found in this stage. The only capsule colors available in this stage are blue and yellow. In this stage, the viruses are arranged to resemble a pot, where the yellow viruses are the "lid" with red capsules above it, and the red and blue viruses, as well as blue capsules resemble the container.
17	Rapid Remedy 2		Dr. Luigi	Medium	Fast	17 viruses are found in this stage. In this stage, the virus layout is random.
18	Two-Move Medication		Dr. Luigi	Medium	Fast	18 viruses are found in this stage. In this stage, there are columns of viruses in the middle, while at the bottom there are three yellow and three blue viruses with red capsules above them, which will match with the red viruses below them when they are eliminated. The viruses are arranged where all viruses can be eliminated with at least two capsules.
19	Be the Best!		Dr. Mario (Vs.)	Medium	Fast	64 viruses are found in this stage on each player's bottle. In this stage, the virus layout is random, but is the same between both players.
20	Be the Best! 2		Dr. Luigi (Vs.)	Medium	Fast	19 viruses are found in this stage on each player's bottle. In this stage, the virus layout is random, but is the same between both players.

Advanced Stages (Miracle Cure Laboratory)

For the Dr. Luigi modes, if the speed is either Slow or Med, the L-capsules have three pieces in one color and one in another. However, if the speed is Fast, the L-capsules have two pieces in one color and two in another, both colors in one full capsule each.

3	Grin and Bear It		Dr. Luigi	Medium	Fast	26 viruses are found in this stage. In this stage, the viruses are structured like a face, where the blue viruses form the eyes, the yellow viruses form the nose, while the red viruses form the smiling mouth.
4	Mining for Miracles		Dr. Luigi	High	Fast	30 viruses are found in this stage. The only miracle cures available from the gauge in this stage are Exploders and Zappers. In this stage, there are two rows of blue viruses, a row of yellow viruses, and three rows of two red viruses within the same row separated by two gaps stacked on each other in the middle. The bottom of the bottle contains two Virus Blaster R, two Virus Blaster Y, and one Virus Blaster B.
5	Virus Valley		Dr. Mario	High	Med	78 viruses are found in this stage. In this stage, the bottom thirteen rows contain viruses in the three leftmost and three rightmost columns.
6	Harmonic Healing		Dr. Luigi	High	Fast	32 viruses are found in this stage. In this stage, the viruses are structured like the quaver musical note.
7	Superstar Science		Dr. Luigi	High	Fast	33 viruses are found in this stage. In this stage, the viruses are structured like a star, consisting of blue viruses for the eyes and yellow viruses for the body. Despite there only being blue and yellow viruses, all three capsule colors are available, as with the Virus Blaster R.
8	Vertical Zapper Zinger		Dr. Mario	Medium	Fast	34 viruses are found in this stage. The only capsule colors available in this stage are blue and yellow. The only miracle cure available from the gauge of this stage is the Vertical Zapper. In this stage, viruses are lined in certain columns and rows, and some of the intersections contain Exploders, Horizontal Zappers, and +Zappers.
9	Exploderama		Dr. Mario	Medium	Fast	44 viruses are found in this stage. The only miracle cure available from the gauge of this stage is the Exploder. In this stage, the Exploders form some intersecting lines, where they are all surrounded by viruses.
10	Musical Mayhem		Dr. Mario (Vs.)	Medium	Fast	36 viruses are found in this stage on each player's bottle. In this stage, each player start with a group of viruses shaped like a treble clef.
11	P Switch Pushover		Dr. Luigi	High	Med	46 viruses are found in this stage. In this stage, the blue and yellow viruses are structured like a P-Switch, where there is a row of red viruses above them. All three colors of Virus Blasters are above the row of red viruses. Both Virus Blaster B and Virus Blaster Y each have two capsule pieces of the same color above them, meaning that if they fall on the viruses below, capsule matches will be made and will trigger those miracle cures.
12	Rainbow Road		Dr. Luigi	High	Med	48 viruses are found in this stage. In this stage, six lines of viruses form diagonal lines, where the three colors of viruses are each found in two of the lines, in the following order from top to bottom: red, yellow, blue, red, yellow, blue.
13	Three-Move Medication		Dr. Luigi	High	Med	33 viruses are found in this stage. In this stage, the viruses form rows with gaps in between, where they are spaced in such a way as to allow three L-capsules to create a chain that will clear all viruses.
14	Zap to Zilch		Dr. Mario	Medium	Fast	65 viruses are found in this stage. The only miracle cure available from the gauge of this stage is the Vertical Zapper. In this stage, several Horizontal Zappers and Vertical Zappers are surrounded by viruses. The former are found in the bottom eight rows, while the latter are found in the first seven columns. These Zappers are arranged in a way that will clear in a spiral pattern, starting from the Horizontal Zapper at the bottom-right.
15	A Heartfelt Battle		Dr. Luigi (Vs.)	High	Fast	40 viruses are found in this stage on each player's bottle. In this stage, each player start with a group of viruses shaped like a heart, with red viruses on the outside, blue viruses in the middle, and yellow viruses at the core.
16	Vertical Zapper Dropper		Dr. Mario	Low	Fast	24 viruses are found in this stage. The only miracle cure available from the gauge of this stage is the Horizontal Zapper. In this stage, there is a group of three rows of six viruses in mid-air. Below that group, there are three rows of two viruses, each of them containing a Vertical Zapper above them.
17	Strawberry Crop		Dr. Luigi	High	Fast	54 viruses are found in this stage.
18	Leave No Leftovers		Dr. Mario	Low	Med	30 viruses are found in this stage.

25	Speedy Treatment		Dr. Luigi (Vs.)	High	Fast	48 viruses are found in this stage on each player's bottle. In this stage, both players start with six rows of viruses in mid-air, where each column has two virus colors, both with three in a column.
26	Controlled Demolition		Dr. Luigi	High	Fast	44 viruses are found in this stage. In this stage, the viruses form the shape of house.
27	Zap the Left, Blast the Rest		Dr. Luigi	High	Fast	49 viruses are found in this stage.

29	Red and Blue Maze		Dr. Mario	Medium	Slow	47 viruses are found in this stage. The only capsule color available in this stage is yellow. The only miracle cure available from the gauge in this stage is the Capsule Blaster Y. Groups of red and blue viruses are lined up to leave a narrow passageway for a capsule to pass through. Near the bottom of the the bottle, there are two yellow viruses. Directly above them, there are two Virus Blasters for the blue and red viruses, and they are below the space that would have made blue and red virus horizontal matches.
