Template:Quote2 Drifting Away is a song featured in WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Microgame$!. It serves as the background music for the gameplay portion of Dribble and Spitz's stage, playing on the radio while they drive a customer to the Diamond City harbor.

Drifting Away appears in the minigame Jump Forever, along with Four Seasons and the Jumpin' Rope theme. After Kat and Ana's stage is completed, this is the default tune until the player scores 100 jumps. The song also plays in the second level of Dr. Crygor's microgame Cymbalism.

In WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Party Game$!, the player can view a Drifting Away music video in the "Movie Matters" section. An excerpt of the song can also be heard in the "WarioWare, Inc. Medley" in Super Smash Bros. Brawl.

In WarioWare: D.I.Y. Showcase, one of 18-Volt's records is an arrangement of Drifting Away titled "Floating..."

The song reappears as a record in WarioWare Gold.

Lyrics

Japanese Script[1] Romanization Translation

こがね色の、あなたの COUPE
たっぷり BUTTERを ぬって あげるわ

街を 抜けて、桟橋へ (LET'S GO! LET'S DRIVE!)
息を 止めを 閉じて、1、2、3

濡れる 頬、夢中で 泳げ、そして
波間に 漂う、声を 振り切って、ねぇ

こがね色の あなたの COUPE
ささやく 波間で、一休み

Kogane iro no anata no kūpe
Tappuri batā o nutte ageru wa

Machi o nukete sanbashi e (LET'S GO! LET'S DRIVE!)
Iki o tome o tojite, Wan, Tū, Surī

Nureru hō muchū de oyoge soshite
Namima ni tadayou koe o furikitte nē

Kogane iro no anata no kūpe
Sasayaku namima de hitoyasumi

Your golden-colored coupe
Looks like it has butter spread all over it

Escape the city and head for the pier (Let's go! Let's drive!)
Hold your breath and close your eyes, 1, 2, 3

Swim in a daze of wet cheeks, then
A voice floats on the waves, drifting away

Your golden-colored coupe
Takes a rest on the whispering waves
