- The Super Mario Bros. pinball machine (pictured) was the first game Charles Martinet officially voiced Mario, though he was uncredited in the game.
- In Mario Party and Mario Party 2, when Wario loses, he says "So ein Mist!", which is a German expression of showing disgust like "Oh, shoot!" or "No way!", which people have mistaken for "D'oh I missed!".
- During the credits of WarioWare: Smooth Moves, each member of the development team is represented by a Mii avatar.
- In Super Mario 64, Super Mario Galaxy, Super Mario Galaxy 2 Super Mario Odyssey, if Mario performs a successful Triple Jump and doesn't move after the final landing, he performs a pose and cheers.
