The Peanut Popguns are an item in Donkey Kong 64. Diddy Kong can buy them from Funky Kong. Their appearence is that of two small pistols made of bamboo. They are used, among other things, to shoot enemies, Peanut Switches, and Banana Balloons. In the level Fungi Forest, homing ammo can be aquired for the popguns. He also can use these guns while using his jetpack.

They will be appearing in Super Smash Bros. Brawl, as an attack for Diddy Kong. It is unknown what type move it is (Standard+B, Up+B, etc.), but it is assumed it will be a rapid fire weapon, like Fox or Falco's Blaster attack.

Trivia

• In beta screenshots of Donkey Kong 64, the Peanut Popguns originally looked like real guns.
