Coins

Do you have a moment to talk about the coin standardization proposal? Hello, I'm Time Turner. 22:02, 26 August 2017 (EDT)

Bah, it's just as mundane as deciding on a set spelling for minigame or deciding whether species templates should be pluralized or singularized. Also, the proposal isn't calling for every instance of the word "coin" to be either capitalized or not; when we're talking about the bog-standard golden Coins, do they take a lowercase letter or an uppercase letter at the start. Hello, I'm Time Turner. 23:24, 26 August 2017 (EDT)
Pardon, but your vote is still there, at least on my end. My proposal is dealing with the standard "Yellow Coin", which is simply called a "Coin"/"coin" in most games. I am not dealing with literally every instance of the word "coin", only the instances involving the Yellow Coins. I'm personally vouching for the uppercase Coin because that makes it clear we're talking about the unique, important Coins. 23:48, 26 August 2017 (EDT)

FREEDOM!

I'M BACK! Did you miss me? Anyway, what happened while I was gone? I just beat New Super Mario Bros. TWICE over the weekend, and now I'm a pro at it! YES! Lcrossmk8 (talk) 15:58, 27 August 2017 (EDT)

Not much happened over the weekend. Did you find all the secret cannons? The alternate routes? The Star Coins? Were you playing as Luigi? Alex95sig1.pngAlex95sig2.png 16:02, 27 August 2017 (EDT)

All of the above! In fact, I 100-percented the game and got three stars on my file. Lcrossmk8 (talk) 16:08, 27 August 2017 (EDT)

Hey, good job! Alex95sig1.pngAlex95sig2.png 16:12, 27 August 2017 (EDT)

Re: B Dasher

Because it's the main kart of the game. I don't know, I DO think we should say that at some point for all of the karts and characters. Mario Kart DS was my first video game and Mario game ever, so I know it like the back of my hand. Lcrossmk8 (talk) 20:50, 28 August 2017 (EDT)

Princess Shroob edit

Aw, DANG it! I thought that was gonna work for sure. You got any ideas, bro? Lcrossmk8 (talk) 22:23, 28 August 2017 (EDT)

Best to just leave it. The parameters of the quote template aren't working in your favor. Alex95sig1.pngAlex95sig2.png 22:25, 28 August 2017 (EDT)

Re: Subjective Content

OK, I understand. Sorry if I went a little too far with that. Lcrossmk8 (talk) 22:59, 29 August 2017 (EDT)

Peach/Daisy Appearances for Mario Party 4 (Clarification)

Yeah, Alex95 - nothing against you, of course, but what I (and others) are trying to get at is regarding that piece of trivia regarding Peach's/Daisy's current main dress/appearance debut on the Mario Party 4 article - we're just saying that the said installment was when the said designs made their debut and nothing more. I do agree that all technical details (describing said dresses/designs) regarding this are to be mentioned on the character articles themselves (which I believe has already been done). I hope you're able to understand; thanks so much in advance. --M. C. - Profile | Talk Page 11:41, 30 August 2017 (EDT)

So you also made sure that it still was mentioned on said respective character articles that Mario Party 4 was the installment where Peach/Daisy had their "current main dress/design" debuts and that Mario Golf: Toadstool Tour was the installment where their current general athletic outfits started to make their debut? I made sure of this too on the technical side because it was still important to mention on said character articles there (and because I usually focus on contents involving the Mario girls in general). --M. C. - Profile | Talk Page 12:01, 30 August 2017 (EDT)
Yeah, I was also checking those sections too, but I've been busy with other matters outside of here; hope to get those parts as well verified when I get back. I still do believe that it was still worth mentioning there (the "details", of course) for the respective Peach/Daisy character articles. --M. C. - Profile | Talk Page 14:20, 31 August 2017 (EDT)

Waluigi edit

That's the point. That's the CLOSEST he has ever come to appearing in a mainstream Mario game. And how are TTYD and Kingdom Battle NOT mainstream games? Please explain. Lcrossmk8 (talk) 01:23, 31 August 2017 (EDT)

They're spin-off games. Mainstream games are those like Super Mario Bros. or Super Mario Sunshine. In PM2 and M+R, Waluigi is referenced, he doesn't make an appearence. Alex95sig1.pngAlex95sig2.png 02:00, 31 August 2017 (EDT)

Re: Sponsors

Sorry, is there not another way around the sponsors pages? You see, if we add up all of the sponsors from all of the games, which were due to get pages eventually, the number is over one hundred, with over sixty of those from Mario Kart 8 alone. Getting it all into one page would be incredibly difficult, and the page would be huge. Regarding the speculation though, it is only what we think the company is doing and who runs it, as it is not a fact explicitly confirmed in the game. For example, the Peach & Daisy Royal Patisserie most likely is a patisserie run by Peach and Daisy, but for all we know it is really an item shop run by Dry Bones, so that's why I've been using presumably and the like in the pages. Also what do you mean by the validity thing? BBQ Turtle (talk) 16:12, 31 August 2017 (EDT)

Right, sorry, to be so slow to come back but I think I know what to do now about the Mario Kart sponsors. I think a split by game is best, but we may have to double split Mario Kart 8, as there are over sixty in that game alone. I think the best way to order it is alphabetically, as there is no specific in game order. When it comes to the sections themselves, I think I will probably nick the top paragraph from the current articles, with logo descriptions and what's on it, special references and whatever, create a table system for where and how they appear and include a mini gallery with variants for each sponsor, and whack all other pictures at the bottom in a large gallery, and just list the sponsor names that can be seen in the picture underneath. How does that sound?
Regarding the speculative stuff, I think it may be worth leaving it, as it isn't much. If I pick at random, say, Dream Gliders, the speculative sentence is:
"Presumably, the company produces the Gliders that the racers use after driving off a Glider Ramp."
All of them follow much the same pattern, so I don't see the harm in leaving them. In any case it is never more than a sentence, and if I find one that's more, I'll trim it. I'm not going on about some random malarkey in it.
Oh and just a quick thing- I think Nintendo must've put some thought into them, just look at the reference on Shy Guy Metals. And it wasn't like they barely paid attention, you have to admit, they did appear at the end of the credits, in team selection, loading screens, and in the Sunshine Airport announcements. And if we add all the sponsor over the years together, they've appeared in eight games to date, and in one upcoming one. Also that Kansai airport collaboration thing. So some thought must have gone into it.;P BBQ Turtle (talk) 15:43, 1 September 2017 (EDT)
Thank you, I'll probably stick with the current plan, and then other people can chop and change as they like afterwards. I think that's probably the best way to work. But can you leave the pages until I've got the information from them before getting rid? And I'll warn you now, it'll be a few months before completion, as I go back to school on Wednesday, so editing'll be a weekends, holidays, no homework and trying to avoid homework job. :P BBQ Turtle (talk) 16:06, 1 September 2017 (EDT)
Thank you! :D BBQ Turtle (talk) 16:10, 1 September 2017 (EDT)

Uploading trouble

Ugh, I hate uploading images. They're not that hard, but the images I get can't be used for various reasons, and filling in the information is just a piece of trouble. That's why you don't see me uploading any images to the wiki. I nearly got a virus on my computer for trying a couple of times. Oh...boy, that was NOT fun at all, I will tell you. Anyway, how you doing, bro? Lcrossmk8 (talk) 20:40, 31 August 2017 (EDT)

A virus? Perhaps you may want to check where you're pulling your images from. Keep trying, though, practice makes perfect.
I'm doing fine. Working on some projects and stuff. Alex95sig1.pngAlex95sig2.png 20:42, 31 August 2017 (EDT)

Oh, just for kicks, you want to hear this music. It's freaking awesome!

Also, Bullet Bill's name is Killer in Japan. Does that remind you of the killer whale? It does for me. Both are powerful and deadly, and you don't mess with them. Lcrossmk8 (talk) 20:57, 31 August 2017 (EDT)

...I guess? Alex95sig1.pngAlex95sig2.png 20:58, 31 August 2017 (EDT)

Anyway, my birthday is coming up. It's on September 4, and I turn 15. In fact, I was born the exact same day the Oakland Athletics won their 20th straight game on Scott Hatteberg's walk-off home run and set an American League record for the longest win streak. I hold a personal connection to Moneyball for that very reason.Lcrossmk8 (talk) 21:03, 31 August 2017 (EDT)

Dude! Why you entering in an edit war, buddy? You're a patroller! You should know better! You know what, you MIGHT be hurt badly by that one. :) OK, just kidding. I was just trying to give you a hard time there. But still, doesn't it make sense? I mean, Wario is an anti-hero, so he obviously would be using the ground pound infamously. And the ground pound is more than a butt-stomp, it's a hard-hitting pound and one of the most iconic elements of the Mario franchise. Lcrossmk8 (talk)

I know I'm on a last warning. I'm not dumb enough to forget that. I was just joking, you know. I know you wouldn't try to foolishly enter an edit war like that. And don't worry, my wits are indeed about me. I'm doing just fine. But I can't help but give people like you a little nudge here and there to keep the wiki alive and relaxed. But don't worry, I know to keep my wits about me and not let my guard down. Lcrossmk8 (talk) 23:22, 31 August 2017 (EDT)

May I ask what bobbing their heads actually entails? Hello, I'm Time Turner. 18:16, 2 September 2017 (EDT)

I wouldn't consider that enough to split them. We haven't split the enemies from the NSMB games just for dancing or hopping to the beat of the music. Do keep me posted if you find anything else of note, though. Hello, I'm Time Turner. 18:22, 2 September 2017 (EDT)

Collaboration project?

Hi, I know you're currently creating articles for Super Mario Bros. levels, but is it possible for us to work on the Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle levels together? I mean, we did do well in collaborating on creating the Super Mario Galaxy 2 missions, and besides, the level layout in Mario + Rabbids is pretty overwhelming in and of itself, so I want to see how YOU would do it! (Two is better than one in this case!) Additionally, my plan is to do the levels of the even worlds, while you would do the levels of the odd worlds. What do you say? Toadette icon CTTT.pngFont of Archivist Toadette's signature(T|C) 00:05, 7 September 2017 (EDT)

Ah, but have you considered watching gameplay videos (such as "let's plays")? It's what I've been using to create level articles in the past. In fact, I find it slightly more advantageous because you can actually allow the level design to sink in, like when it helped me create level articles such as My First Course, which I just could not beat. I'm still not trying to force you or anything, but it's just something to keep in mind. :) Toadette icon CTTT.pngFont of Archivist Toadette's signature(T|C) 00:34, 7 September 2017 (EDT)

Hello. I want to create another signature, specially for Halloween, but, can I create a new page with it or I need to change the current signature's page? Thanks for answering. Sprite of an Ice Snifit in Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga. LED42™ (talkedits) 21:24, 11 September 2017 (EDT)

Kinda

Kinda is certainly a word. It's listed in the Cambridge Dictionary, the Oxford Dictionary, dictionary.com, and even Wiktionary. It's informal, sure, and not usable for the wiki's register, but it's a perfectly cromulent word, in the same way that "alright" is an accepted variant of "all right". Sorry about the mini-rant, my hobby linguist knowledge kicks in when people talk about informal words not being words. Hello, I'm Time Turner. 22:00, 11 September 2017 (EDT)

I'm kind of a grammar police myself :P I use it a lot, actually. I know it's a word, but not one the wiki prefers. I've seen it mostly as slang, though, or what I call a "lazy word". I regard "alright" in the same way, really. Acceptable, but not preferred. Alex95sig1.pngAlex95sig2.png 22:06, 11 September 2017 (EDT)
"Acceptable" depends on the context of the situation. You wouldn't speak using cold, formal, and unfamiliar language to your close family, for example, just as you wouldn't use highly casual and informal language when meeting the president/prime minister/royal ruler of your country. I agree that "kinda" shouldn't be used for the wiki, but I disagree that there are words that are not preferred in all situations. Hello, I'm Time Turner. 22:10, 11 September 2017 (EDT)
Well, yeah, totally. I definitely don't use swear words, for example, as my family and I deem those unacceptable. I suppose I said "acceptable" in a broader sense than I intended. By "acceptable", I meant acceptable on the wiki. Alex95sig1.pngAlex95sig2.png 22:12, 11 September 2017 (EDT)

Goomba

Wouldn't "Goomba (film species)" be more appropriate, considering the article isn't covering a particular character? Hello, I'm Time Turner. 12:31, 14 September 2017 (EDT)

Probably. I was going for consistency with the other "film character" articles, but I guess "species" makes more sense. Alex95sig1.pngAlex95sig2.png 12:34, 14 September 2017 (EDT)

Userbox Tower

Hello! I see that the "Shroom' Awards" section of your Userbox tower is messed up, try putting {{br}} after my Userbox. It should work :) Sprite of an Ice Snifit in Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga. LED42™ (talkedits) 17:42, 14 September 2017 (EDT)

It looks fine to me. What do you see on your end? Alex95sig1.pngAlex95sig2.png 17:44, 14 September 2017 (EDT)

Hmm, maybe it's because I'm using the mobile version... I see the "Shroom' Awards" text written vertically on the right, just after my userbox. The same happened to me, after a userbox I put "Friends" in the tower, and it looked the same as I'm seeing the Shroom' Awards text. So, I put the {{br}} template, and now looks good. Sprite of an Ice Snifit in Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga. LED42™ (talkedits) 17:51, 14 September 2017 (EDT)

Yeah, my user pages isn't exactly "mobile friendly". I'll add the template anyway, see what that does. Alex95sig1.pngAlex95sig2.png 17:55, 14 September 2017 (EDT)

Personally, I lean toward artwork like he do for most Mario Kart DS and Mario Kart Wii ones. Personally, I just feel the artwork looks better. Yoshi876 (talk)

That's my one concern. While it's fine for the ones in 7 and 8 because the models are of a decent quality, when you look at DS, they're pretty ugly. Yoshi876 (talk)

RE: Emulation

You started off with a ROM hack as testing emulator configurations. Try unaltered ROMs first. ROM hacks might have alterations that would otherwise be unplayable on real hardware (search for Everdrive N64 on Google). ZSNES and ROM hacks of Super Mario World have this problem. If you still can't get the emulator to work, I can send you my emulator configuration as a ZIP file or something. Delete your emulator folder and save the ROMs and saves. Then extract my contents. --Wildgoosespeeder (talk) (Stats - Contribs) 15:24, 21 September 2017 (EDT)

It's promising that you gave it another attempt. I only offered as a method to debug the kind of problems you are experiencing with emulation in general. Don't give up on it! Think of my offering as a last resort before giving up. No pressure, but let me know when you want to give emulation a third attempt. --Wildgoosespeeder (talk) (Stats - Contribs) 15:35, 21 September 2017 (EDT)

Hell Valley

I've been reading a few articles about Jigokudani and I fail to see a connection between the figures on the cliff and the real-life location. Could you elaborate? Hello, I'm Time Turner. 17:18, 25 September 2017 (EDT)

The claim in the article is that the three figures that appear in the galaxy's background are a reference to this location. My question to you is to explain what connection these figures have to the real life location. Hello, I'm Time Turner. 17:23, 25 September 2017 (EDT)
What do you mean when you say that everything about the figures is a reference? The player doesn't interact with them at any point in any way, and they're only background elements in the galaxy. Nothing about them is a reference to Jigokudani simply because they don't do anything that could constitute as a reference. The only thing that matches is their name, but as you said yourself, "Hell Valley" is the internal name for Shiverburn Galaxy, so of course the internal name for the galaxy's background would match the internal name for the galaxy itself. Perhaps I've misunderstood something: please explain exactly how the figures themselves are a reference to Jigokudani. Hello, I'm Time Turner. 17:33, 25 September 2017 (EDT)
Pardon my butting in, but therefore the reference should go at the top, not at the part with the "trees." Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 17:43, 25 September 2017 (EDT)
I am talking about the three figures in the background. I am not talking about the entire galaxy. This is what the article is claiming: "Three mysterious figures appear in the background of the galaxy. The three figures also appear in the background of the Pull Star Planet in Grandmaster Galaxy. They are likely based on an area in Japan named Hell Valley that is hot, but has snow in the area." The article itself is talking about the figures. You are not responding to my queries. Hello, I'm Time Turner. 17:43, 25 September 2017 (EDT)
Okay, I see where the misconception lies now. The figures themselves do not appear to be referencing anything, but rather the galaxy as a whole does. Looking up more information, I can't find anything about what the figures could be based off of. Doc's suggestion would be better, since the name is a part of the galaxy as a whole. That work for you? Alex95sig1.pngAlex95sig2.png 17:48, 25 September 2017 (EDT)
EDIT: Actually, that'd look kinda out of place. Maybe just rewriting the sentence would be better. Alex95sig1.pngAlex95sig2.png 17:52, 25 September 2017 (EDT)
I'll tepidly accept a point under the trivia section. Areas with both snow and lava are nothing new, especially for video games, but the internal name is rather clear-cut. Hello, I'm Time Turner. 17:57, 25 September 2017 (EDT)
(I thought Doc was talking about the top of the page, not the top of the section, whoops) Alright, I have to leave for an appointment in a few seconds, so I'll make the change when I return. Alex95sig1.pngAlex95sig2.png 18:00, 25 September 2017 (EDT)
I was talking about the top of the page. Move that and the reference to the internal name to the top. Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 18:30, 25 September 2017 (EDT)
Okay, that's what I thought, but it would seem out of place up there. It'd fit more in the Hell Valley section or in trivia. Alex95sig1.pngAlex95sig2.png 19:57, 25 September 2017 (EDT)
Heh, been calling it Freezeflame Galaxy this whole time, but it's Shiverburn Galaxy. Still, concept is the same. Alex95sig1.pngAlex95sig2.png 20:03, 25 September 2017 (EDT)

Level Help

Hi, I'm new to the wiki and I recently got autoconfirmed here. Anyway, I was wondering about something. I noticed that you were currently working on The Lost Levels levels and creating new pages for each of them. And from the looks of it, its a pretty big job. So I was wondering, would you like some help in creating those pages? I can understand if you don't want any help. But I just thought I ask, since I want to be helpful to the wiki. Char89Charizard (talk) 17:46, 25 September 2017 (EDT)

Hey, welcome! How much information do you think you'd be able to provide? Alex95sig1.pngAlex95sig2.png 17:48, 25 September 2017 (EDT)
That I do not know. Most of the information I know about the series is already on the wiki. I guess it depends on what kind of information you need. But nevertheless, I'll do my best to help make the wiki as accurate as possible. I even edit the Nintendo World Championships 2017 page when I first got on here a few days back to include the fact that Miami's Qualifier is cancelled due to Hurricane Irma. I learned that information from the official website. I love the series as much as any other Nintendo franchise. I recently created my user and talk pages so that people can know my favorite Mario games and such. I don't have a profile pic on me yet, but I hope to get one soon. But if there's any type of information you need, what kind of information would that be? Char89Charizard (talk) 23:03, 25 September 2017 (EDT)
Hmm that's good advice. I think I'll start checking stub pages first. I'll do my best to provide as much info it needs, unless I don't have that said info. But, hey. I'll give it a shot. Char89Charizard (talk) 23:35, 25 September 2017 (EDT)
Alright then. Thanks for the info. And also, I'm looking forward to Super Mario Odyssey. But I'm afraid I'll have wait until my birthday before I get it and my birthday is a month from the game's release. Char89Charizard (talk) 23:40, 25 September 2017 (EDT)
I found a stub article that's likely to go better inside another article. I added the talk page proposal to the list. Char89Charizard (talk) 01:11, 26 September 2017 (EDT)

Suspicious Behavior

The pages relating to the The Adventures of Super Mario Bros. 3 episode "Life's Ruff" have recently been given many edits by various IPs, particularly the Herman page. One of said IP's is also staring to edit a large amount of Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door articles, which has happened recently before with that game. Now this may simply be an anon on a different computer from before because, say, they're at their grandparents' house currently, but I'd keep tabs on it. Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 20:24, 25 September 2017 (EDT)

It was more the seeming IP-hopping that I was worried about... Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 22:18, 25 September 2017 (EDT)

Protection requested.

Try getting an admin to protect the Mario All-Stars and Mario 2 pages, because that guy has a lot of IP addresses under his belt! – Owencrazyboy9 (talk) 21:35, 27 September 2017 (EDT)

Yep, already talking about it. Alex95sig1.pngAlex95sig2.png 21:36, 27 September 2017 (EDT)

Aerodent and cuckoo condor

Sorry for bothering but let me tell you the reason I put these two in the undead category First off in the aerodent page it states that "Aerodent is a grey mouse ghost that hides inside an inflated bear balloon." which is why I put him in the undead category along with the reason I put cuckoo condor in the undead category which is that all the Wario land 4 bosses are ghosts (except spoiled rotten) and I thought he was a ghost due to his ghost like tail/feather thing which is similar to all the other Wario land 4 bosses (except spoiled rotten again) so yeah

No bother, thanks for coming to me. It appears the other bosses aside from Spoiled Rotten are marked as undead as well. I must've missed the "ghost" part of Aerodent's info, but thanks for letting me know. I'll correct the info. Alex95sig1.pngAlex95sig2.png 17:38, 28 September 2017 (EDT)

Sunshine Mole and Goopy Piranha

How are they not bosses? They both take three hits to defeat, one of them has boss music, and the other is constantly spawning minions and requires strategy to defeat. They seem pretty boss-like to me. Every bit as much as Big Bob-omb is. Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 16:50, 2 October 2017 (EDT)

King Bob-omb is a poor example as he is a boss through and through. The others are one-time stage bosses, so while calling them a boss isn't incorrect, but with their roles in the rest of the game, it would probably be best to just call them enemies overall. Unless policy says they can categorized as both?
EDIT: Nope, bosses is a subcategory of enemies, but since not all Polluted Piranha Plants and Monty Moles are bosses, best just leave them as enemies. Alex95sig1.pngAlex95sig2.png 16:53, 2 October 2017 (EDT)
I don't follow. Big BOb-omb is fought once time in his initial appearance, while the bosses I mentioned are fought multiple times. Polluted Piranha Plant is almost comparable to Boom-Boom in this regard, albeit only fought once. What makes these any different from Petey Piranha and Gooper Blooper within the context of Super Mario Sunshine? Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 16:56, 2 October 2017 (EDT)

EDIT: Uh, yeah all of them are bosses? Boss Music for PPP? Three hits for both? Strategy for MM? What makes these "enemies" but not bosses? Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 16:56, 2 October 2017 (EDT)

They only ever appear in specific missions where only one each appears, and they are the focus of the mission by most of the NPCs in the area, one has boss music, both take three hits, they only appear in very limited numbers....the list goes on. Winged Strollin' Stu also only appears twice, but it's an enemy because it appears en masse and the NPCs don't even acknowledge them. The only times generic enemies are the focus of a level are the thing with the Snooza Koopas, which appear en masse and take one hit, the Chain Chomplets, which technically can be considered a puzzle boss, but again appear en masse and only have to be dealt with once each, the Chain CHomp itself, which is more of a sort of-belligerent NPC than anything, and the boos in the first "inside the hotel" mission, which were, again, en masse. Slendermole and PPP seem more like bosses to me. Listing them with bosses feels right, while listing them with enemies feels....forced and stilted. Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 17:06, 2 October 2017 (EDT)
In almost all of his appearances, King Bob-omb is a boss. The Polluted Piranha Plant and Monty Moles are more like obstructions or maybe mini-bosses. The Piranhas situated around Delfino Plaza are certainly not bosses. Just because the Polluted Piranhas have their own music (the Monty Moles don't) and take three hits (some take six) does immediately make them a boss. I agree that the game does classify at least some of them as such, that's not my issue. My issue is that there isn't a proper way to categorize them as both enemies and bosses at the moment. Alex95sig1.pngAlex95sig2.png 19:53, 2 October 2017 (EDT)
They come off as bosses in all their appearances, including the Delfino Plaza ones. They give off that impression. And they act as bosses. They don't seem like just enemies. Because they aren't. They're bosses. Also, we count Piranha Bean as a boss just because it's one-time, despite having normal enemy music and multiple versions appearing at once in the new mode footage. Why should it be classified as a boss and these clear bosses be classified as enemies? Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 19:57, 2 October 2017 (EDT)
I guess considering their roles they would be considered bosses as they do obstruct the player from getting to the goals. Nintendo Power also calls the Monty Mole in Noki Bay a boss, but the one in Pinna Park doesn't have the same role. ...idk, They definitely seem too major to be a standard enemy, so I guess the closest comparison would be a boss. Alex95sig1.pngAlex95sig2.png 20:02, 2 October 2017 (EDT)

On Super Mario Sunshine, it lists Polluted Piranha as both enemies and bosses, but Monty Mole as boss. Just putting it here so it is convenient, due to it being listed there. Red Yoshi in a construction hat walking Yoshi the SSM (talk) 21:24, 2 October 2017 (EDT)

knock, knock...

Uh, hello? Anyone here? Lcrossmk8 (talk) 21:38, 3 October 2017 (EDT)

Yo. Alex95sig1.pngAlex95sig2.png 21:50, 3 October 2017 (EDT)

Hey, it's you! How are you doing? Anyway, why the heck did I get blocked again? I think I know why, but I never suspected it would become much of an issue until a while after I got banned. I thought I had made it clear that I had learned from my mistakes--at least, I hope so, and I intend to. Lcrossmk8 (talk) 21:55, 3 October 2017 (EDT)

OK, I'll work on that. During my ban, I had a lot of questions for you about the blocking policy, and I analyzed in detail what I did wrong and why I kept screwing up. Ultimately, I realize that I'm trying to be too flashy and not really mellow down a bit. Of course, I will try to be as excited and hyper as I can be, but I'll be careful not to make a mistake. If I'm just able to hold on for now, maybe, just maybe, that last warning and those two blocks might just fade away enough, but that will take a lot of time. I also have a good sense of humor (I think), but I'm not using it right and yielding bad results. I'm also not really appealing to people by acting like I overloaded on sugar all the time, especially with the administrators. I just need to calm down. God, don't you just hate the GameFAQs community these days? It sucks. I spend a lot of time on it, and some nasty things can happen, including people trying to force their opinions down other people's throats and acting as if their opinion is the "right", "best", and/or "only" opinion, and as if they are the "true" fans of Mario and/or Nintendo. That type of stuff usually does happen on GameFAQs, and it is not pleasant. I guess it just rubbed off on me a little too much.

TL;DR Well, that's a very long response. Long story short, the moral is, I need to just be me and act down to earth, and not try to appeal to people and make them laugh by being all impulsive and hyper. I've got the questions for you in just a second, so hold on. Lcrossmk8 (talk) 22:28, 3 October 2017 (EDT)

Thanks

I at first was very upset with the corrections you made. I'm sure a lot of people would agree with me, but looking back, I can see how I was wrong, and as I'm new to this, have learned much. Thanks for doing your job. Chat Man (talk) 22:23, 3 October 2017 (EDT)

You're welcome! Don't let corrections deter you, just keep at it. Alex95sig1.pngAlex95sig2.png 22:27, 3 October 2017 (EDT)

Hello

Hey, my friend! How are you doing? I did say I had some questions for you about the blocking policy, which I will get to you sooner or later, but my computer shut down while I was typing them out. But hey, I hope life's been doing you good so far. Lcrossmk8 (talk) 19:19, 4 October 2017 (EDT)

Doing alright. Alex95sig1.pngAlex95sig2.png 19:23, 4 October 2017 (EDT)

sombrero guy

oops, my bad, sorry I didn't know.Pikmin theories (talk) 21:44, 4 October 2017 (EDT)

Don't worry about it. Though be sure to check other user edit summaries sometimes to see why a change occurred ;) Alex95sig1.pngAlex95sig2.png 21:46, 4 October 2017 (EDT)

To be honest, I actually did do that, it just didn't say, where it was moved to, and I didn't really know where it would be moved to, as, they're only in the paper Mario series, and I don't know much about that proposal stuff, so, I guess I figured the possibility of someone removing info for no reason and using the edit summary as a ruse thing, (no offense) but what's important is we got it straightend out. that redirect thing thing that someone just added should definetly keep others from obtaining my confusion.Pikmin theories (talk) 21:58, 4 October 2017 (EDT)

Image Uploading

Sorry about not filling in the Info on my last couple images. Was trying To upload multiple and thought it was filled in, any way I could edit it back? I won't happen again.
